Filing Claims. Have you received a notice of claim for exempt use from the Department of Natural Resources and Conservation? If so, the deadline for filing these is June 30th 2019. If you’d like advisement on how to move forward, contact us here.
Adjudication work. If there are Issues with your claims, we can do the research, and even testify in court on your behalf. A lot of the issues that arise during the adjudication process simply need more research done. We thrive at solving these problems and know that historical research is at the basis of these resolutions.
Ownership updates and splitting of water rights. If you are subdividing acreage or simply wanting to have your water right broken out of multiple owners, you will need historical mapping done; perfect.
Ground Water Certificates. If your well was put to use after 1961, Montana law says that you have to have your use filed with the state. We can help.
Changes to your claims and Permits. Once again, both of these processes are based off of historical use and availability. We can do the research and help walk the water user through these processes.
You and your water are important to us! Our questionnaire and the answers you provide allow us a chance to familiarize ourselves with your situation prior to us following up with you.
